About a year and a half after graduating Summa Cum Laude from university with a degree in Business and Communication, I hit one of the lowest points in my life. I had quit my first corporate job out of school due to mental health struggles, took a few months to regroup, and then landed my dream job managing a beautiful wedding venue in Orange County. However, just a couple of months later, I was let go, feeling utterly crushed and defeated. I had no clue what I was going to do next and was left feeling completely confused, lost and hopeless.
A week after I was let go, I attended a church event where a new friend spoke a life-changing word over me. We were having a conversation about how I had no idea what I was going to do next and she said that God was putting it on her heart to ask me about photography. I was stunned; I have always loved taking pictures but never thought of it as a career option. That moment ignited a passion in me, and I began pursuing photography professionally. Fast forward to today, I finally feel like I have found my true purpose in life.
There is no greater joy for me than taking pictures of beautiful places, beautiful things, and beautiful people. It is a true honor and privilege for me to be entrusted by couples to capture love in its truest form. I do not take my job lightly and I hope you don't take choosing a photographer for your big day lightly either. It is so important to find someone who you not only trust to take gorgeous photos, but someone you trust to look out for you and your happiness, hype you up, bring humor and calm to what can sometimes be a stressful day, and most importantly someone who is genuinely happy and excited for you to be marrying the love of your life.
I'd love to be apart of your journey. I book 8 months in advance so please reach out early!
